Here in Northern Utah, it is full swing beautiful Wintertime. So I hope to not be wishing for Spring until March. Last summer I was really loving the huge lilac trees that seem to be everywhere making this small town smell wonderful!
Mmm... We just got a lilac-scented plug-in thing from Bath & Body, and it's making our kitchen smell heavenly. I think if we had snow every once in a while I could make it through the winter a little easier - it's so blah here right now! (I think I've mentioned that a few times recently...)
these and peony's are my most favorite. and i do love the smell of lilacs.
Peonies smell amazing, too! It makes me very worried to think that the people who live in our old house may have taken them out like they did the white florabunda and the bleeding heart--I'll try not to think about it.
Yikes! We decided to plant around the old peony bush at our house, so our beds aren't totally symmetrical - but the peonies were worth it. So pretty.
