Summer Berry Meringue Roulade

I was browsing around M&S's food page again and found this recipe. It looks fantastic. Cornflour is corn starch, caster sugar is superfine sugar, and icing sugar is powdered sugar. I'll have to figure out how to convert the amounts that are listed in grams, but I really want to try to make this.

I've been really into making meringue lately. Nothing so fancy, though. Looks delicious!

Beth - you will have to give me some pointers! When I tried making meringue before it never got stiff enough. We really want to try this recipe because in England we had some wonderful meringue with berries and cream. Tony would eat it every day if he could!

I know something--you can't use a plastic bowl of any kind because it has oil in it which will wreck the meringue. But you probably don't own a plastic bowl. I made some, too with a recipe from Roald Dahl's cookbook. And I even got some pointers from Beth. Also, I wonder if humidity affects it.
