I know it's a little late to be talking about the Olympics, but I've been thinking about them. I have loved the Olympics for as long as I can remember and (living in Utah) was fortunate to be able to attend the 2002 Winter Games in Salt Lake. What an incredible experience. I find particularly inspiring the words of the Olympic Creed:
The most important thing in the Olympic Games is not to win but to take part, just as the most important thing in life is not the triumph but the struggle. The essential thing is not to have conquered but to have fought well. (attributed to Baron Pierre de Coubertin)
