The English roses and Scottish thistles really were amazing. And I love that they have such a connection to plants as national symbols.

I don't know why, because I know it is considered a weed, but I have always liked the thistle a lot. I wish I could have seen them.
We saw one that was actually an artichoke! Weird.
I really love sagebrush. Do you? It is the best color.
