Thursday Text: John Keats

I went to see the movie Bright Star on Friday. It reminded me of how much of Keats' poetry I really love. I need to dig out my British literature anthology for a refresher. Here's a bit from Endymion:

A thing of beauty is a joy for ever:
Its loveliness increases; it will never
Pass into nothingness; but still will keep
A bower quiet for us, and a sleep
Full of sweet dreams, and health, and quiet breathing.

(And, yes, I absolutely loved the movie. Of course I loved the poetry and the fact that it was in England, and I loved Fanny Brawne's fashion. The whole thing was beautiful and heartbreaking.)
