Utensils

I decided that I needed some new kitchen utensils.  I opted for wood or metal (no plastic) and found some lovely pieces at World Market and Williams-Sonoma.  Below is the beautiful wooden spoon I ordered from World Market - it's made from olive wood.  Change is good after 17 years, right?

Bathroom Update

The curtain that I had made for our bathroom just wasn't cutting it anymore...  So I found some fun fabric at Jo-Ann and made a new valance.  (I also installed a roller shade - my dad would be so proud.)  To complete the new look, I got these towels from World Market.  People tend to spend a lot of time in their bathrooms, so I think it's nice to change things up.  What do you think?

Smoky Quartz Earrings

All of the earrings at World Market were on sale for Mother's Day.  I had a coupon, too, so I got this lovely pair for less than $5!  (The bottoms hook at the back.)

Squirrel Nut Grinder

I think I need to start filling my home with squirrel-themed goods and decorations.  This squirrel nut grinder from World Market is pretty cute!

World Market Earrings

We finally made it to World Market.  Have you been?  It's a fabulous store.  I found some great earrings for $5.  I got these three pairs - they were made in India.  World Market also carries food from around the world.  I'm going to have to go there more often - especially now that holiday season is around the corner...

Cream Patisserie Cake Carrier

I think I saw this in Country Living, but I think it's sweet: a French cake carrier from World Market.  My beginning French class is beginning in a couple of weeks, so this is some fun inspiration.
