Sadie & the Hotheads
I've been taking some time off. I had another birthday, and then I went to spend time with my mom in Utah. As you know, I love traveling. It always gives me a lot to think about. We did manage to watch Downton Abbey. I thought it might be the last one, but there's one more! Did you know that Elizabeth McGovern has a band called Sadie & the Hotheads? This one is called "The Cow Song."

Purl Soho Prism Quilt
My sister alerted me to another fabulous quilt - this one even uses Liberty of London fabric! It's from Purl Soho, and I love, love, love it.

Anna Maria Horner Well Composed Blouse
I was looking at some lovely Liberty projects online the other day and found this fantastic top made by Melissa at Polka Dot Chair. She used the Well Composed Blouse pattern by Anna Maria Horner. Find it here. I really want this blouse! Will someone make one for me?

Williams-Sonoma Spring Garden
We were in Bellevue (Seattle area) over the weekend and go to do some fun shopping. At Williams-Sonoma we saw their adorable Easter dinnerware. I loved this Spring Garden platter, but it was a little pricey... So we picked up a couple of salad plates. I can't get over how cute the bunny is!

Cabinet Houses
I had not heard of cabinet houses before discovering Liberty's new collection. They are fascinating little doll houses and miniature rooms made in cabinets in the 1700s and 1800s. Here are some great examples. The first is called the Killer Cabinet (named for the owner) from the Victoria and Albert Museum. The other two examples are from the Rijksmuseum. Such a fun idea.

The Chesham Cabinet Collection
Liberty has a fantastic new line called the Chesham Cabinet Collection. The designs are based on antique doll houses and cabinet houses. That was so interesting to me because of my family's interest in the Thorne Miniature Rooms. Beautiful fabric, as always.

Guru Donuts
Since we've moved to Wenatchee, our drives home to Utah have taken us through Boise. Sharing a space with the Boise Fry Company is the fabulous Guru Donuts. This is a picture of mine - it's hipsterberry flavored (berry and lavender), and it's so good.

S.D. Evans
I've been kind of obsessed with the flying geese quilt pattern lately. In looking for some modern examples, I came across the work of S.D. Evans. She makes beautiful quilts like these.

Cherry M&Ms
M&Ms has made a cherry version of their candy for Valentine's Day. They are yummy! They're bigger - like my other favorite, the coconut ones. So sweet.

Old Navy Tops
Old Navy has such lovely prints right now - but such weird silhouettes. This top has owls and rabbits, and I got it for $8. It's a strange trapeze shape, so I think I'll take in the sides and wear it under a cardigan...
