The Banks of the Marne in Winter

I love Pisarro.  The Banks of the Marne in Winter is a very lovely oil painting by Camille Pissarro that is held by the Art Institute.

Friday Featured Art: Near Sydenham Hill

We visited the Kimbell Art Museum when we were in Fort Worth last weekend. It's a small collection, but it's pretty fabulous. I liked this painting by Pissarro: "Near Sydenham Hill," painted in England and given to his wife for their wedding.

Friday Featured Art: Vegetable Garden in Eragny

I like the work of Camille Pissarro. I believe that I saw this piece recently, but I can't seem to remember where. It's called Vegetable Garden in Eragny, overcast sky, morning. It seemed appropriate as we have a rather overcast sky here today.
