Barbara Brackman designs fabrics for Moda. She also has some great quilt books out. America's Printed Fabrics 1770-1890 looks like a fascinating combination of history and crafting. I love that old skills like quilting are gaining popularity again.

Friday Featured Etsy Seller: Charm Packs

I know I've been posting a lot about fabric lately, but I am thinking a lot about sewing and discovering lots of great patterns. The Etsy shop Charm Packs is a great resource - especially for Moda designs.

Moda Shirtings

Here's another line by Moda that I really like: shirtings 1875-1900. I saw some of these patterns at the fabric store the other day, and I think they are fantastic.

Morris Tapestry

I was really excited to find out about the Morris Tapestry line from Moda. The designs might not be exactly William Morris, but it's a great alternative to the really expensive authentic reproductions. I just ordered a charm pack from Etsy!

Bunny Hill Designs

We just returned from a short trip to Utah. While we were there, we visited a fabulous shop in Brigham City called Village Dry Goods. They had rows and rows of great fabric. One line that I really liked was the Lily & Will fabric by Bunny Hill Designs for Moda. So cute.
