Linen Dish Towels
I've been kind of unsatisfied with my dish towels lately, so I sewed some new ones out of white 100% linen. I used the pattern from Lotta Jansdotter's Simple Sewing. I really love how they turned out.

Lotta Jansdotter Doorstop
Another sewing project I completed recently was a doorstop - using a pattern from Lotta Jansdotter's Simple Sewing. The fabric is Joel Dewberry, and it's full of pinto beans. It was a fun little project.

Lotta Jansdotter
Lotta Jansdotter is selling fabric remnants on her web site. I'd really like to buy a bag of Lotta-designed linen! Then I would make something like the cute door-stopper (below) as seen in the photos of her home tour on Martha. See the tour here.

Lotta Jansdotter
Scandinavian designer Lotta Jansdotter is such an inspiration to me. Her work is simple and clean and fun. I love this apron and the cute place cards below. Last year around Christmastime I got her book, Simple Sewing. I have to admit that I haven't made anything from it yet, but I have big plans!
