Sorry for missing last week!  After the move we needed to clean our old place so that we could get our deposit back - you know how it goes.  Now I can start on our new home!

Becoming Jane

Last week I watched Becoming Jane. I'm still not sure how I feel about it. It was interesting. I liked that Laurence Fox (from Inspector Lewis) played one of the characters (on the right). Perhaps I'll have to read the book...

I really love the background music on the Inspector Lewis series. So we searched high and low and overseas for the soundtrack. It's composed by Barrington Pheloung and performed by the London Metropolitan Orchestra, and you can sample it (or buy it!) through the UK version of Amazon here.

Masterpiece Mystery

Lately I've been watching Masterpiece Mystery on Monday nights. Where we live, they've been showing episodes of Inspector Lewis. It's kind of a British Law & Order-type show. Very interesting.
