Thursday Text: The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes

For October, our book club is reading mysteries.  I listened to Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None as an audiobook from the library, and I got this book on my Kindle.  The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes (Illustrated by Sidney Paget) is a collection of short stories written as Dr. Watson conveying his experiences with Holmes.  It's a fun introduction to Sherlock Holmes.

Thursday Text: Dreaming of Mr. Darcy

I checked out a Kindle version of this book from my library: Dreaming of Mr. Darcy, by Victoria Connelly.  It's been a fun read so far.  I hope I can finish it before my loan expires!  It looks like it may even be a series.  Does anyone know?  Have you read it?

Thursday Text: Therese Raquin

I did a trial offer from audible.com and got the audiobook Therese Raquin, performed by Kate Winslet. It's part of their A-List Collection. I liked listening to a book - I could take my Kindle around with me while I did my chores. The book was very dramatic. According to IMDB, it's currently being made into a new film, starring Elizabeth Olsen and Tom Felton!
