Millionaire's Shortbread

Everyone knows that Scotland has the best shortbread.  While we were in England, we discovered Millionaire's shortbread.  It's shortbread with caramel and chocolate on top.  Yum!  Go here for a recipe from the BBC.

Flapjacks

In England, flapjacks are not pancakes.  They're a bit more like an oaty, chewy granola bar, and they're delicious.  I found a recipe that I'm going to try.  I'll let you know how it turns out!

Persuasion

I just finished reading Jane Austen's Persuasion for my class. I really love the book. It was even better the second time around. Have you seen the latest BBC production? It's the version that we'll be watching in my class. Yea!

Masterpiece Classic: Sense and Sensibility

My Jane Austen class just finished reading Sense and Sensibility. I really love it. We're now watching the latest BBC adaptation of the book. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. I watched it a while back and liked it better than the version with Emma Thompson...

Doctor Who

I was finally able to pull myself away from watching Doctor Who on BBC America. I got caught up watching the episodes with David Tennant as the Doctor. As of this year, there is a new Doctor, so I can have my life back now!

Colin and Justin's Home Heist

A show that I like to catch on BBC America is Colin and Justin's Home Heist. On the show, these two designers take over and make over homes in Canada. They're pretty silly, but I like to see the end result (see below).
