Sleeping Masks

Since we've been flying a bit recently, I decided to make us some sleeping masks. The pattern is from Amy Butler's In Stitches book. They're quilted on the front to make them extra comfy.

Amy Butler Wristlet

I made this wristlet using an Amy Butler pattern and that fabric that I bought in St. Charles (MO). The handle is really for the larger bag pattern, but I wanted something small that would be easy to hold onto. And I have enough fabric left over for another little project!

Amy Butler Makeup Bags

I made a couple of little makeup bags using an Amy Butler pattern last week. I really love this squirrel fabric. The inside is a brown, kind of Western-looking star pattern. The blue fabric on the bottom is a sample of Ralph Lauren fabric that I've had forever. The inside of that one has a cowboy fabric, complete with bucking broncos. I'm not sure what I'll use them for yet, but the size is great, and the zippers are handy!

Sewing

I've been spending some time sewing, and it has been fun. I hemmed a couple of things, and I'm making some decorative pillows. I just finished this makeup bag using some cute Amy Butler fabric I've had for a while. I made the smaller one (bottom) a couple of years ago, and it's just too small. So now I have two!

Amy Butler

Since I've already mentioned her husband, I need to mention designer Amy Butler. I especially love her fabric, and she's come out with a new line: Midwest Modern. So cute!
