Northanger Abbey
Last year, I read Jane Austen's Northanger Abbey. It's her gothic parody, and it's rather amusing. Over the weekend, I watched a really lovely screen adaptation (from Netflix!). I loved Felicity Jones as Catherine. (And, of course, JJ Feilds was dashing as Mr. Tilney.) Which is your favorite Jane Austen?

well i am about to read persuasion, after i finish another book so i will let you know-this summer is going to be the summer of jane austin for me-with reading emma and a biography so i am excited!
I watched this when PBS showed all the Jane Austen movies. It was pretty silly. I wasn't even scared. :)
It's funny - I hadn't made it through a Jane Austen until last year. My mom gave me a really old copy of Pride and Prejudice, and I ended up loving it. I need to do Emma, too. And then watch them all!
