One of the paintings that Sara liked at the Art Institute was Still Life with Flowers by Odilon Redon. It is very beautiful and luminescent. It seemed much more golden in real life, but this is nice just the same.
Thanks for posting this. I had forgotten about it. That tends to happen after a museum trip. But I really do love it and you are right it was much glowier in real life. Remind me to tell you about the cloud painting by O'Keefe.
