Another delicious thing that we discovered in the UK was the
pasty (pronounced
pass-tee). Many of the Tube stations include locations of the
West Cornwall Pasty Company. I think that a pasty is the same thing as what was once called a "hand pie." It's a pastry folded up with meat, vegetables, etc., on the inside. My favorite was the apple and pork version. Delicious.

Is that like Sweeney Todd? Remember that play?
