Slippers

We live in a 100-year-old house with wood floors, some of which aren't in very good condition. So we have to wear slippers to avoid getting slivers. These were in Mary Engelbreit's Home Companion. I'm trying to work on my sewing so that I can make a pair. (Or you can make them for me if you have some spare time, Sara!)

    Those slippers are cute. I don't sew either. I wish I could buy a pair. If your looking for some cute nostalgic slippers, Target sells Nick & Nora slippers
    that come as sock monkeys, puppies, and pandas. I know they sound silly but I enjoy them and they are comfortable =).

    I cut out that article, too. They are so cute and I like that you can customize them. When I get a chance I will definitely make us some. Although, sock monkeys sound fun too.

    Thanks for the great ideas! I saw some cute ones at Old Navy last night, but I didn't want to spend that much. That's kind of funny, though, because by the time you buy the fabric it probably costs the same...
